How Will We Use Your Donation?
We don't receive government funding, so we depend on private donations to keep us going. We're proud to say that roughly 90% of our funds goes to the care of our pups.
Veterinary care is our #1 expense (followed by dog food, supplies and training). Some of the dogs we rescue have never received proper vet care; others come to us with serious illnesses or injuries (like Symon, shown here). Most must be spayed or neutered. Regardless, we give them the same quality care we give our own pets.
Because we don't have a shelter and our volunteers are unpaid, our overhead is low, and that's how we like it. We pay for insurance, state licenses and some necessary administrative expenses, but most of our budget goes to the care of our rescue dogs!
Because we have 501c3 not-for-profit status, donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
