3-4 year old male pit/Malinois mix, 70 lbs.
Wouldn’t you love to come home to a big ol’ sweetheart who’s so happy to see you, he’ll bring you his favorite toy? That’s Taz! Taz is a lovable goofball who adores people, playtime and affection, as well as his foster sister, Dottie.
Taz' s Story
Taz had a loving home…until he didn’t. Several of them, actually.
Taz was bought on Craigslist for $25. When his owner could no longer care for him, she left him with her elderly parents. They loved Taz, but ultimately relinquished him due to their failing health.
Currently, this good boy lives in a foster home with a 3-generation family (he’s wonderful with the family elder). He’s a charming house dog who makes people laugh with his silly antics. He loves his “babies” (stuffed animals) and takes good care of them.
Taz loves walks, but is initially timid in new situations. We don’t think he was exposed to much in his prior life, so we’ve been showing him the world and building his confidence—something his forever owners must be willing to do.
Taz is healthy, potty trained and good in cars. He adores Dottie, who is also available for adoption. (Yes, we'd love to adopt them together.)
We’re told Taz is a pit/Malinois mix, but he looks very lab-like to us. It’s hard to tell in photos, but Taz has a awesome two-tone black and brown coat...wouldn't you like to see it up close?
