Midwest Rescue Runs Entirely on Your Donations

Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. We are entirely dependent on donations from the community (we don’t receive any other source of funding). We literally can’t rescue dogs unless we have funds for their care.
When you make a donation, how is it used? Veterinary care is our #1 expense, followed by food, supplies and training fees. Since we don’t have a shelter and no one gets paid to volunteer, our overhead (insurance, state fees, etc.), is very low. We work hard to keep it that way.
Because we are a 501c3 not-for-profit, your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Please consider supporting us with a gift. Our rescue pups will thank you!

Other Ways to Give
Ask Your Employer about Matching Donations
Some employers will match employee donations to charity dollar-for-dollar. Find out if yours is one of them–we can provide you with proof of our not-for-profit status.
Donate a Prize to Our Next Fundraiser
We hold at least three fundraisers a year, and we’re always looking for raffle prizes and silent auction items. Sometimes we’re looking for event sponsors, too. It’s a great way for businesses to promote their products or services and for craftspeople to showcase their art. Or, donate a gift basket or cool item in honor of your pet or loved one. Email us for more information.
Grant a Wish on our Amazon Wishlist
Sometimes, our foster pups need supplies–especially when we first bring them into the rescue. We often keep a running Amazon Wishlist of goods, which are shipped directly where they’re needed. See our Amazon Wishlist.
Every donation counts and goes directly towards helping our pups!
