Esther

Esther is a 9 month old puppy who wasn’t treated well.  Her owners were seen grabbing her and sometimes tossing her aside, as if she was a bag of trash in the way of life.

This didn’t last long, though, because a Good Samaritan saw what was happening, approached Esther’s owner and walked away with another saved life.  Esther was taken to a local free vaccination clinic in the city of Chicago where she met with the alderman hosting the function.  Because the woman who saved Esther’s life had health issues, she explained that she could not care for this puppy and was going to have to take her to the local shelter.  Alderman Raymond Lopez knew that this would mean that Esther’s chances of surviving were slim, so he scooped her up and brought her home.

Esther will remain with her new foster daddy until a home is found, but because he has senior and special needs dogs, he cannot keep.   So, he reached out for help to find this puppy a forever home and we jumped on it.

Esther will be fully vaccinated, heartworm tested and spayed in the very near future.  She has been microchipped and is learning what puppyhood is all about!
