Bella

In Italian “Bella” means beautiful and this girl is so true to her name. Bella is a sweet loving girl and quite smart; she learns commands quickly. She has great manners that her foster family continues to work on. She loves to cuddle and is often found curled up under the blankets on her foster parent’s bed. Bella is approximately 4 years old and has the face of an angel. She gets along well with her foster doggie brothers, although we have learned she is dog select (isn’t fondof every dog).

Bella is a strong brave girl; it was suggested that she survived the 2012 brutal Chicago winter as a stray. If that isn’t tough enough, we believe she also had a litter of puppies right before she was brought into Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC). During her stay at CACC she was diagnosed with pneumonia and bordetella (kennel cough). The pneumonia took a toll on her emaciated body but now Bella is happy and healthy looking for a home to make her own.  Bella has been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations.

An amazing couple was moved by Bella’s story and offered to foster and sponsor all expenses if Midwest brought her into the rescue. With their dedication and Bella’s resilience she is now ready for the next chapter of her life…adoption. Are you ready to be a part of Bella’s future?
