Athena is a charming, playful young pit mix who lives to play and love. This little girl adores everyone she meets, including other dogs and cats. She is full of beans, but eager to please!
We rescued Athena off of doggy death row. Her first family brought her in for boarding at a local kennel, and never came back to claim her.
When she first arrived at her foster family’s home, she was a timid little scaredy-cat. It’s been a joy to watch her transform into a sassy, confident girl who soaks up love like a sponge. She is such a happy dog.
Athena had successful surgery for a luxating patella (not uncommon for this breed). She is an obedience class graduate and walks beautifully on a leash. She loves her daily walks. A total cuddler, she will make a wonderful family dog or faithful companion.
